I like this book, i really do. The words are raw and achingly honest, transporting me to a time i'd rather not have back. I only have a few minor complaints about some grammatical errors, and i wish the illustrations accompany the letters somehow to make them more balanced - because it feels like the letters and the drawings are separate rather than a whole. I also wish the last letter has a distinctly different font to mark it as a reply instead of another letter from the writer.Other than that, i'm happily basking in the 27 days of heartbreak.

Reading this book is like reading someone's diary. In it poured out the feelings that a person goes through after a breakup. I can say that this book is a book that contains elements of bittersweet where on the one hand, we are taken to see sweet memories in the past, after which we are taken to the present where those memories are only memories.Some of the quotes I like in this book:

I deliberately did one thing you hate today. Yes, I ate in the car, while driving. You hate it because sometimes I forget tot ake the trash down and days later, the car would smell horrid. Not to mention I have the attention span of a two year old, I don't need anymore distractions while driving.

Anyway, I sipped the hot coffee as I turned the car audio on. My heart skipped a beat when I heard the song that was playing. Instantly, I kew that it was the mixtape that you have given me. The one you have compiled in a 90 minutes BASF cassette because you told me that it is the only right way to do it.
I splashed the coffee on the tape deck before I fender-bended the car in front of me.
I hate it when you're still right even though you aren't here anymore.
And the song kept on playing.
"Nobody does it quite the way you do. Why'd you have to be so good?"

It's quite pricey for an Indonesian Author's book, but it's well deserved (They deserve high price for their well written books!)

Accidently found this book when I was looking for other books. Caught my attention although it has no preview whatsoever.It's quite pricey for an Indonesian Author's book, but it's well deserved (They deserve high price for their well written books!)
I turned out to be very happy with my decision. The English is perfect (grammatically and all), the words are very light and easy to understand and yet it is far from corny. The illustration complements the story, it's an inseparatable part of the book. It wont be as good as it is without the artworks.
Read it in an hour straight, that's how short it is. I will be sure to read it again someday soon.
I believe people will like this, and they can relate. After all, who hasn't got their heart broken?

To be honest, I read this book because I still got my heart break's vibe. So, when I was looking for another poetry book, I found this book and start to read it.
Well, in my opinion, this book is very honest. At least, the author is poured all of her feeling through her writing. I tried to positioned me as the author. I could feel her depression and sadness. After all, it's not an easy work to move on, right?
